Call real customers.
Move from test mode to live calling, in your own hands, in a few minutes.
Test mode and live mode
Every workspace starts in test mode. Chase will only dial numbers you have verified with a 6-digit code, so you can hear the agent on your own phone first. Live mode lets Chase call the customers you have recorded a reason to contact. You switch between the two yourself in Settings → Calling; nobody at Chase has to do it for you.
| Stage | Who can be called | Messages |
|---|---|---|
| Test mode | Only numbers this workspace verified by code | Real messages go to verified numbers; anything else is shown on the dashboard instead |
| Live mode | Customers with a recorded contact basis | Payment links and notices go out through the connected channel |
The go-live checklist
- 01Business name and owner
Filled in when you created the workspace. The agent uses both on the call.
- 02Your own mobile verified
Settings → Calling → Send code. This also unlocks the 7:15 pm daily brief call.
- 03UPI ID and the name customers see
Needed so the agent can send a payment link that collects into your account.
- 04Choose how customers are told who is calling
Either the agent says it at the start of every call — your business name, that it is an AI assistant, and an offer to stop calling — or a WhatsApp/SMS notice goes out first, where a message channel is connected.
- 05Hear one call yourself
Add one of your own accounts, press Call now while still in test mode, and listen to the whole conversation.
- 06One customer with a recorded reason
You state this when importing a CSV or adding an account: your ledger customer, under contract, a prior relationship, or explicit consent.
When every item is ticked, confirm the one-line attestation and press Turn on live calling. Chase records who turned it on, when, and which checks passed, in the compliance ledger.
Verified numbers
Your verified numbers belong to your workspace alone. Add your own mobile and a colleague's, label them so you recognise them, and remove any you no longer want Chase to reach. They stay useful after you go live: a verified number is also what lets you try a change safely.
- A 6-digit code proves the number, and only its hash is stored.
- A code expires in 10 minutes and allows five attempts.
- The owner number cannot be removed from the list while it is the brief number.
- Turning a workspace back to test mode stops customer calls immediately.
Stopping
Switch back to test mode at any time; queued customer calls stop being dialled. A customer who asks the agent to stop is recorded as opted out permanently, in both stages, and no setting re-enables them.
